On Friday 3 May 2019, Sastri College hosted its Annual Athletics Meeting. This was truly a special sports event, because it was our 90^th year Athletics Anniversary. The learners started with a parade around Kingspark track. The theme of the day was the UEFA Champions League clubs. The classes dressed up in the colors of Liverpool FC, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and many more other teams. The day overall was a resounding success with the help of the Principal, staff and security team. Our learners showed off their talents in the different races.

The day was a huge success along with some extremely generous medals and trophies. The runners entered in good spirits and each runner contributed to take part in the athletics meetings. We look forward to our next athletics meeting next year
