Sastri College Congratulates The Matriculants of 2021
Our school proudly maintains its 18-year tradition of achieving over 90% pass rate.
This challenging goal has been achievable due mainly to the ongoing dedication and close collaboration between learners, parents and educators.
Sastri College 2021 NSC learners achieved 94% pass rate, far exceeding the Umlazi district 80%, Provincial 76.8% as well as the National 76.4% pass rate.
Our 2021 grade 12 learners obtained 163 subject A symbols with 119 Bachelor passes; 53 Diploma passes; 19 Higher Certificate passes.

6th – Uzair Shabbir Dada who obtained an 83,85 % aggregate with 6 distinctions
7th – Liam Shunmugam Naidoo who obtained an 82,28 % aggregate with 5 distinctions
8th – Aphiwe Sibongakonke Mkulisi who obtained an 81 % aggregate with 4 distinctions
9th – Asmaa Dewan who obtained an 80,57 % aggregate with 4 distinctions
10th – Mohammed Yaseen Abdul Rashid who obtained a 79,85 % aggregate, 3 distinctions
